A Look
Back: 2007
2007 was a year of
great success for our charity. We were able to increase the support we
provided to HIV orphans in Africa, and grow our operation in the U.S.
We are looking forward to continuing our success in 2008.
The charity increased revenue over 100% from 2006, while retaining administration expenses under 15%. This means many more
dollars made their way to HIV orphans in Africa.
Our revenue was supported by two fundraising events, new programs such as Wedding for Orphans, and a movie premiere – Angels in the Dust.

The Situation
on the Ground
Roses and Rosemary focuses on HIV Orphans in Africa. Children
orphaned by HIV/AIDS are found in almost every country of the world. In some countries, there are only a few hundred or a few thousand. In Africa, there are millions,
and Southern Africa has the most by far. Your pledge will go to Southern
Africa and those who need assistance .

Spring Cocktail Fundraiser

The Spring Cocktail Fundraiser was truly a great success on all measures! We raised 40% more than we planned, and 50% more than at the last even. We also increased the number of people attending, as well as the amount raised via auction.
When all was said and done, after expenses, we raised over $7,000!.
