Traveling Teddy Bears For Orphans

 Bring as smile to a child's face. Sponsor a teddy bear's trip to Africa!

 The support that Roses & Rosemary provides to the HIV/AIDS affected children in Africa in the form of life-prolonging medicine is crucial. Equally important is the need for HIV/AIDS affected children to receive psychological and emotional support.

In 2008, Roses & Rosemary launched a new fundraising and goodwill campaign, Traveling Teddy Bears for Orphans. In December, we visited organizations we support in South Africa and took along a number of teddy bears, which were sponsored and made by generous donors to give to the children in hopes of bringing a smile to their faces!

We need your help in turning this hope into reality!

You can sponsor one of these bear's trips to Africa with a donation of just $25!

Sponsorship includes:

*the opportunity to stuff your bear,
*complete its look with an outfit, and
*pictures of the bear's journey to his new home.

All funds in your sponsorship go directly to Africa--no administrative costs are built in. They cover the cost of the bear and towards continuing to provide the children with the medication that improves their quality of life.

We will be hosting Traveling Teddy Bear Parties throughout the year in the Seattle area, where you can make your bear and send it to Africa with the best of wishes. There will be a selection of unstuffed animals and outfits for you to choose from, and snacks/beverages will be provided! Don't live in the area or unable to attend? We would be happy to make your bear for you, and you will still receive pictures from Africa.
